GARI was born out of frustration. As travelers who love exploring the Northeast, we were tired of unreliable taxi services, inflexible schedules, and platforms that took 30% from hardworking car owners.
We saw a better way: connect travelers directly with local car owners. Let them chat, negotiate (the true Northeast way—"Mol-Tol" দামাদামি!), and build trust before booking.
Today, GARI serves Guwahati and is expanding across Assam, Meghalaya, and beyond. We're not just a rental platform—we're a community of travelers and hosts who believe in fair, transparent, human-first mobility.
